Claude setup

Use Brandvane in Claude.

Research keywords, Google rankings, backlinks and AI visibility from your conversation. Start with a free quote and choose when to spend your allowance.

Before you connect

You need a Brandvane account with Google sign-in and access to custom connectors in Claude. Your assistant plan and usage are separate from Brandvane. You can connect and inspect your balance before subscribing; new accounts start with zero SEO credits.

These instructions describe a custom connection. They do not mean Brandvane has been listed or endorsed in a public directory.

  1. Open your Brandvane workspace

    Sign in to Brandvane and open "Connect your agent." Select Claude and use the settings displayed there.

  2. Add the connector

    Open Claude connector settings and add a custom connector. Your organization may require its owner to add it. Set the server URL to:

    https://app.brandvane.ai/mcp

    Select OAuth. Where advanced settings allow a pre-registered client ID, enter:

    Leave the client secret blank. The registered callback is:

    https://claude.ai/api/mcp/auth_callback

    If your interface requires different settings, contact support. Never paste an access token into a conversation or a server URL.

  3. Sign in and approve the workspace

    Complete Google sign-in, check the workspace and return hostname on the Brandvane consent screen, then approve the connection. The connection stays with that workspace until revoked.

    The keyword quote is five SEO credits for up to 25 related keywords. A quote does not reserve or spend credits.

Choose what to research

Brandvane supports keyword ideas, domain estimates, competitor keywords, keyword gaps, referring domains, Google rank snapshots, basic HTML audits and recorded AI mentions. Fresh AI answers use a separate allowance. Saved results and exports can be read again without starting new research.

SEO costs $29/month with 900 SEO credits and five fresh AI checks. Pro+ costs $59/month with 2,200 credits and 20 checks shared by the owner and one teammate. Unused SEO credits carry forward and can be used during an active paid subscription. Fresh AI checks reset each paid billing period and do not roll over. Per-account and shared safety limits can pause new requests even when allowance remains. See current plans and limits.

Approve spending and recurring checks

Ask for the specific request and price before approving research. Optional weekly Google rank schedules spend SEO credits on each run and require separate recurring approval; their first run is due immediately. They are not AI monitoring. After a lost response, inspect receipts and reuse the original request key instead of starting another paid request.

Understand the evidence

Search volumes and traffic are provider estimates. Rank results cover a bounded Google snapshot. Recorded AI mentions and one fresh sampled answer measure different things. Missing coverage is not proof that a brand is absent everywhere, and none of these results guarantees rankings or AI recommendations.

Your data and connection

Brandvane receives the tool inputs needed for the request, including selected keywords, domains, markets and AI questions. DataForSEO supplies SEO and recorded-mention data; OpenAI supplies fresh AI answers. Cloudflare hosts Brandvane. Saved research remains in the selected workspace and can be accessible to its Pro+ teammate. Your assistant provider handles conversation data under its own terms. See our privacy policy and terms.

Revoke access in the Brandvane workspace connection controls. Disconnecting only in Claude does not replace server-side revocation. Access tokens last one hour; supported clients refresh automatically, up to a 90-day connection lifetime and 30-day inactivity limit. The connector cannot manage billing, invite teammates or delete your account.

Troubleshooting

For a callback mismatch, compare your settings with the current workspace. For authentication errors, revoke the old connection and reconnect. For a pending request, check receipts. For a safety pause, wait for the displayed recovery condition; do not keep issuing new requests.
